If your ticket contains a ticket from outside the U.S. to Chicago (or vice versa), you’ll need to add it to your flight’s itinerary and change your flight to a domestic flight.
If you’re going to be in Chicago for a few days and need to make a stop at a restaurant, it will be illegal to bring food or beverages on a flight to Chicago.
There are exceptions, but those are rare.
You’ll need your ticket with you and must leave your luggage in the cabin.
Travelers with disabilities, elderly people, people with limited mobility, and people with special needs should check their local airline’s policies before heading to the city.
