In India, the country with the most expensive air travel in the world, an air travel restriction has been imposed on all flights from December 5.
This ban, which was imposed by Transport Minister Suresh Prabhu, has come after a rise in cases of coronavirus.
While there have been a few flights being diverted to other airports, the ban is the most drastic of its kind in India.
The restrictions, which have been in place for some time, are expected to last for a month.
However, some airlines have decided to postpone the ban and start flying again.
This comes in the wake of an announcement that a new pilot was recruited from China to work on the new Airbus A320 aircraft.
There are fears that a shortage of pilots will mean that India’s airports are in a holding pattern.
